Visitors who want to explore NewcastleGateshead’s rich heritage should start with the exhibitions and rolling programme of events at must-see attractions including Newcastle Castle, Great North Museum and Shipley Art Gallery. Seasonal events at Beamish Museum like Great North Steam Fair and Horses at Work weekend are a great way to engage with North East heritage.
