Shoppers can also pick up produce from local aficionados Ouseburn Coffee Company and healthy hipster snacks and smoothies from local independent, Naked Deli.
Grainger Market is home to artisan vendors including Pet Lamb Patisserie, artisan bakery - French Oven and Matthew’s Cheese Specialists which has over 100 different types of cheese for you to choose from!
The popular bi-annual Ouseburn Open Studios is the perfect weekend festival of shopping for anyone who wants to explore the creative artisans who work in Ouseburn Valley. From print makers to ceramicists, potters to painters, creators sell their handiwork at the event in March and November each year as well as giving you a chance to nosy around their studio spaces.
The Biscuit Factory in Ouseburn and open all year round, is the largest commercial art gallery in the UK and visitors can buy their own art to showcase at home as well as browse their gift shop which is full of handcrafted and unique items from cards and prints to homeware, sculptures and jewellery.
