Join in the Pride 2025 celebrations across NewcastleGateshead, where visitors and residents alike, come together to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community in the North East and around the world.
From lively parades and parties to thought-provoking discussions and family-friendly activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
July will see the return of Newcastle Pride which will take over the city 19th and 20th July 2025. Newcastle city centre will come alive with a weekend of exciting events from the iconic march through the city centre, to the festival arena in Times Square with big-hitting headliners, as well as free satellite events that can be enjoyed by thousands of residents and visitors alike.
August will be bursting with Pride in Gateshead, with celebrations organised by Out North East popping up across the River Tyne in Gateshead. More details are yet to be announced, but one thing that's certain is that Pride in Gateshead is not to be missed.
Pride in the City, formally known as Northern Pride, is Newcastle's annual Pride celebration, and 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet. Taking place 19th and 20th July 2025, celebrations will take over every corner of Newcastle, building on the theme of 'unapologetically visible'.
The Pride in the City 2025 arena will return to Times Square in Newcastle's city centre, bringing an exciting list of star-studded appearances which will be announced very soon. Grab your tickets for the arena here, and prepare for a weekend of jaw-dropping performances and music to dance the day into the night.
Areas across the city will burst into a hive of colourful activity with free satellite events, workshops and live performances for the whole family to join in. A full programme of queer art and culture will take place at Northern Stage, the Market Village will return to Greys Monument, and much, much more.
