Join in the Pride 2026 celebrations across NewcastleGateshead, where visitors and residents alike, come together to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community in the North East and around the world.
During July and August there are two main Pride festivals in Newcastle and Gateshead; from lively parades and parties to thought-provoking discussions and family-friendly activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Newcastle Pride will return to the city 25th and 26th July 2026, bringing a weekend of exciting events from the iconic march through the city centre, to the Newcastle Pride Arena at Times Square with big-hitting headliners, as well as free satellite events for all ages.
August will be bursting with Pride in Gateshead, with celebrations organised by Out North East popping up across the River Tyne in Gateshead. Packed with fun music, sporting and film events - Pride in Gateshead is not to be missed.
Newcastle Pride is an annual celebration and 2026 will be bigger and better than ever. Taking place 25th and 26th July the celebrations will bring a star-studded line up including the likes of Katy B, Nadine Coyle, Bimini and Danny Beard to the Newcastle Pride Arena.
Areas across the city will hold fantastic free satellite events, workshops and live performances which are perfect for the whole family. A full programme of queer art and culture will place at Northern Stage and the Market Village will return to Greys Monument alongside a jam-packed programme of other pop-up events and experiences.
Get ready for Pride in Gateshead! Pride is back this August, when Out North East returns with their Summer of Pride in Gateshead.
