What attractions have reopened in NewcastleGateshead?

In line with current government Covid-19 restrictions – indoor visitor attractions and ticketed venues remain closed across NewcastleGateshead but will start to reopen from 4 July. However some outdoor attractions have reopened with new safety measures in place, these attractions include WWT Washington Wetland Centre and National Trust's Gibside and Wallington. Tickets must be prebooked online. The Aviary - an independent art gallery and shop in Jesmond - has also reopened and is offering private viewings of its latest exhibition.

From 4 July 2020, attractions including The Alnwick Garden, Beamish Museum (from 24 July) and English Heritage Belsay Hall, Castle and Garden will reopen too but with limitations to capacity and which areas will reopen. Visitors must prebook tickets from their websites and check their respective safety information before visiting; booking is now open for both attractions.
