Shops reopen in NewcastleGateshead

Wearing a face covering in shops and supermarkets in England is to become mandatory from 24 July.  Find out more about wearing face masks on your visit to NewcastleGateshead here.

Shopping is back on the agenda in NewcastleGateshead with many high street favourites, department stories and boutiques now open and ready to welcome you back for some retail therapy. Fenwick Newcastle - a historic staple in the Newcastle shopping scene - reopened with adjustments to how it operates. Popular shopping centres intu Eldon Square in Newcastle city centre, intu Metrocentre in Gateshead and Dalton Park Outlet have reopened with a number of their shops and traders now open for business. Grainger Market, Newcastle's indoor market, which has been running a delivery service during the lockdown, is open for business.
