Don’t miss Pride Festival each year in Newcastle which grows with vibrancy, variety and good vibes with every event. Celebrate LGBTQ+ culture with performances, events for all the family, talks and events showcasing all the colours of the rainbow. 2022 saw NewcastleGateshead host the UK Pride festival. It was a massive occasion for the city with stellar performances from Todrick Hall, Bimini Bon Boulash, Joe McElderry, Mel C and many more fabulous acts. The Pride March throughout the city centre was based on the UK Pride Promise, 'Remember, Resist and Rise Up for Trans Rights and brought together NewcastleGateshead.
After the success of 2022, Northern Pride are well underway with plans for next year's festival. Be sure to keep an eye on this page for the official dates of UK Pride 2023.

Loosefest took the toon by storm on the Town Moor. The two-day festival welcomed stars inclosing Black Eyed Peas, Joel Corry and Sigala with heart-thumping live music. Keep an eye on this page to find out the dates for 2023's Loosefest dates.
Noughty 90s music festival takes place over August Bank Holiday and is a must for those who can't get enough of the cheeeese! Throw it right back to the dance decade with House classic anthems as well as a line-up of 00s and 90s mega stars yet to be announced.

Newcastle Mela takes place every August bank holiday and is a free, family-friendly festival celebrating Asian culture in Newcastle's Exhibition Park. The popular multi-cultural festival includes live music, dancing, entertainment and plenty of great food. Returning on Sunday 28 - Bank Holiday Monday 29 August 2022.
