Uncover the history behind Newcastle's name at the oldest building in the city and popular visitor attraction, Newcastle Castle. Get hands on at one of the many free museums and art galleries in Newcastle and Gateshead including Great North Museum: Hancock and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art.
