Make and Muse is a chance for young people aged 1316 to explore art in depth, combining discussion and hands-on making in the gallery itself.
Each 2-hour session begins with a talk led by one of the Laings expert learning facilitators, who will explore a particular artwork, artist, or theme currently on display. The tour encourages close looking and conversation, offering insight into the ideas behind the work and the context in which it was made.
After the tour, experiment creatively and reflect on the works around you with an artmaking activity in the gallery space!
