Fenwick is Newcastle's most famous flagship department store and much-loved shopping haven that offers visitors a luxurious, all-round retail experience across five sprawling floors. Founded by JJ Fenwick in the 1880s, Fenwick Newcastle was the first store of its kind and remains one of the best shopping experiences in the region.

Not just a must-visit destination for keen shoppers and fashionistas, Fenwick Newcastle invite daytrippers and evening visitors alike to join them atop their iconic department store at Roof Thirty Nine, Fenwick's alfresco rooftop restaurant and bar.

Visit Fenwick for everything from the finest brands and luxury designer concessions including Mulberry, Victoria Beckham's VVB range and Michael Kors as well as affordable high-street names including Topshop All Saints and Joules. It's not just the first floor women's department that's teeming with labels for the perfect Newcastle night out outfit; you can find brands such as Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, Barbour and Under Armour amongst the high quality menswear concessions in Fenwick, too.

If a little R&R is what you need, there are also endless high-end beauty counters for all your cosmetic and skincare needs, where you can choose from Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and Clinique. Give your HD eyebrows some attention at the Benefit Brow Bar, treat yourself with an indulgent hair treatment at the Aveda Blow-Dry bar, or revitalise your skin at the BeautyBar by Clarins. You'll be ready for a 'night on the Toon' in no time!

Whether you're looking for clothing, quirky stationery, stylish homeware and furniture, childrenswear, electronics, a personal shopper or even a fully-stocked toy department you will not be disappointed with a visit to Fenwick!

If in need of some refreshment, Fenwick Food Hall has one of the city's finest delicatessens selling local and international high-quality food and drink. Here you can buy delicious souvenirs as you choose from a vast selection of wines, spirits, beers, preserves, cheeses and confectionary. You can also grab a bite at Porterhouse Butcher and Grill, a selection of artisan cakes at bakery-patisserie Mason + Rye or snap up fresh seafood at Saltwater Fish Company. Make a day of it at Cafe21, known for their signature Cafe21 afternoon tea or enjoy a light lunch.

From the very beginning, the holistic customer experience has been the core of JJ Fenwick's values. The stunning Victorian building remains much the same but the department store has continued to expand over nearly 140 years to become part of Newcastle's culture. The well-known parade of shop windows on Northumberland Street displays the world-famous Fenwick Christmas window each year, with ever-changing themes for children and adults to enjoy and get into the Christmas spirit; it's of the best Geordie Christmas traditions there is!
