The Valley Climb Newcastle is a state of the art bouldering gym on the edge of the Ouseburn Valley with extensive facilities for climbers of all abilities.
The Valley is the second climbing centre to be opened by Climb Newcastle. Building on the success of the Climb Newcastle original bouldering centre in the old Byker swimming pool. The Valley is on the edge of the Ouseburn Valley, in the East of the city.
They even have hot showers and coffee to finish off your pre-work climb!

Climb Newcastle is the brainchild of former British and world climbing champion Andy Earl, and well-known local climbers Chris Graham and Darren Stevenson. Their passion for climbing and bouldering will help to deliver another world-class bouldering centre.
Where is The Valley?
The Valley is the large warehouse on Byker Bank, near the Foundry Lane junction into the centre of Ouseburn. Our front door is on Quality Row.
From the Morrisons Byker roundabout: Turn onto Byker Bank and go downhill. The centre entrance is on the left, before reaching the traffic lights at the bottom of the bank.
From the Quayside: Turn onto Byker Bank at the Hotel du Vin. The centre is the large warehouse, currently with 'To Let' signs on. The main entrance is on the far side, turn right after the traffic lights.
