Set beneath the brick arches of Stepney Bank and spilling through the creative backstreets of Ouseburn, Newcastle’s quirkiest market is back for a fresh new season!
Taking place once a month from March through to July (with the exception of July’s market being held the first weekend of the month to coincide with the Ouseburn festival!) Ouseburn Market transforms the neighbourhood into a lively hive of independent makers, foodies, musicians and street performers - all packed into one of the city’s most characterful corners.
Each event will feature over 60 stalls celebrating the best in North East creativity - from handcrafted jewellery and small-batch ceramics to natural skincare, bold prints, curated vintage fashion and more. Whether you're searching for something unique, hunting down a gift with personality, or just here for the snacks and good vibes, there's plenty to get stuck into.
With street food vendors serving up everything from bao buns to brownies, and the ever-present charm of Ouseburn’s local businesses open throughout the day, it's the perfect way to spend a weekend in Newcastle. Families, foodies, collectors and curious wanderers - this is your invitation to explore, eat and shop local.
With 60+ stalls, local flavours and live music all weekend long, Ouseburn Market is one of the best indie markets in Newcastle this summer.
