Stalls at the Ouseburn outdoor market will be open from 10am - 4pm on Saturday 23 May, providing an opportunity to celebrate the creativity and vibrancy of Ouseburn.
The Ouseburn Market in May is only the second event but organisers hope to create a regular and recurring series of outdoor Ouseburn markets which will take place in Newcastle's creative region. Browse over 20 stalls showcasing all that is great about the Ouseburn. Find the stalls dotted around Ouseburn Valley and situated outside The Cluny, Seven Stories, Lime Street Studios and the Ouseburn Farm. Discover stalls selling local produced goods and unique items which make excellent gifts, souvenirs or treats for yourself.
Once known as the cradle of the industrial revolution, recent regeneration has transformed Ouseburn to become Newcastle’s cultural quarter and one of the most vibrant creative communities in the North East. Home to artists, musicians, designers, printmakers, brewers and even sheep, Ouseburn is a thriving community that attracts an eclectic crowd.
Ouseburn outdoor Market will be Covid 19 compliant, with all appropriate social distancing in place, and the market will be well marshalled by a team of volunteers. Come to the Ouseburn to enjoy the wonders of the valley and to support a host of local businesses.
