Moosenwirt, the beloved alpine pop-up Christmas bar and village, is back by popular demand for a second year on Grey Street in the heart of Newcastle's city centre. Building on last year's overwhelming success, Moosenwirt is ready to light up the city once again with festive cheer and enchantment from Saturday 18th November 2023 - 2nd January 2024.

Moosenwirt promises a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. Nestled outside Lloyds Bank on Grey Street, the Alpine Bar and Village is set to welcome guests daily from 10am until 11pm. As you step inside, the air will be filled with the sounds of live acoustic music daily, courtesy of talented local musicians, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

From local ales and continental beers to mulled wine, cider, spirits, cocktails, “fully loaded” hot chocolate, and refreshing cold soft drinks, Moosenwirt offers a wide selection of beverages that will satisfy your festive cravings. The cosy seating areas, complete with inviting fire pits, create the perfect setting for gathering with friends and family, ensuring a warm and welcoming ambience for all.

For those seeking an even more intimate experience, luxury igloo domes are available for reservation, surrounding you in a magical atmosphere that captures the essence of the season.

While entry to Moosenwirt is always free, guests interested in reserving an igloo dome or Elk Lodge can do so on the official website. The value of your ticket is redeemable against drinks spent during your visit.

Moosenwirt is committed to providing a memorable and enchanting Christmas experience for everyone. Children are welcome until 8pm daily, dogs are allowed at all times, you can bring your own food from nearby markets and businesses onto the site to eat, plus all areas across the site are accessible for disabled visitors
