We're Good to Go

The measures we have put in place:

  • Enhanced hygiene regimes that were introduced at the start of the outbreak will continue, with more deep cleaning of key areas and touchpoints like escalators, toilets and keypads.
  • We will be placing limits on the number of people and cars allowed into the centre at a time, with some parking bays closed.
  • There will be a raft of other measures such as one-way systems, floor stickers and staff training to ensure visitors stay socially distanced.

Is Metrocentre open?

Following the latest Government guidelines, we can confirm that from Thursday 31st December the centre will be operating on a partially closed basis.

Metrocentre sits at the heart of its community and provides access to vital services such as pharmacies, supermarkets and banks. As many of these essential services can only be reached through the centre, visitors are able to access the services they need whilst supporting those retailers who need to stay open.

Opening Hours

From 2nd January 2021, the centre's core hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 7pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 7pm
  • Sunday: 11am - 5pm

Individual retailers opening hours may operate outside of the centre's core hours. Some retailers might have slightly reduced, or extended hours. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you check with the individual stores directly in advance before travelling to Metrocentre.
