It’s a New Year and a new you, so what better way to celebrate that than in Newcastle?

With innovative laser lights across the city, music and plenty of restaurants to enjoy, there is lots going on in NewcastleGateshead to celebrate New Year's Eve and help you to welcome in 2022.

Lasers of Lights across Newcastle

Newcastle nights sky will be filled with light as part of the New Years’ Eve Celebrations, 4 pm – 11 pm on Thursday 30 December 2021 - Saturday 1 January 2022. Watch as a visual feast of high-powered lasers cast over the Quayside, Hadrian’s Tower, and Newcastle Civic Centre.

The Lasers of Light is a collaboration between Newcastle City Council, NE1, and BAFTA award-winning artist Seb Lee-Delisle. It is an interactive laser show as you can create your own designs via the Laser Light website.
