Victor Indigo November

Victor Indigo November is a wine shop and tasting room in Gateshead’s Railway Quarter. Opened in 2023 by Charlotte and Lorrie Fenwick, the shop specialises in wines, cheeses and charcuterie from France.

As well as the shop, Victor Indigo November has a bar where you can choose from an ever-changing wine list – made up entirely of French wines. We offer around 20 wines by the glass, as well as wine flights – a great way to try a few different glasses, and perhaps discover a new favourite. They offer cheese and charcuterie boards, from the well-stocked deli counter, to go alongside your wine.

And if that isn’t enough, they are also dog friendly. They have their own dog, Rayna, who is usually in residence and has taken very well to shop life. She is the self-appointed Chief Greetings Officer, and takes her job very seriously. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome from her – why not visit and hear her infamous welcome howl for yourself.
