The Central Bar in Gateshead has had a revamp and a change of hands… the popular and quirky Gateshead bar is now open and ready to welcome you back for a well earned pint!
Often known as the best ale house in Gateshead, The Central Bar serves up to 13 handpulls and 2 kegged ales, bottled beers from around the world, quality wines and spirits. Food is served from 11.30am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm till 5pm Sunday, with an extensive vegetarian selection every day.
If you're a fan of whisky, you'll love the Whisky Lounge, which holds at least 90 whiskeys from all over the world. There is also a games room containing a pool table, table tennis table and pinball machine. The top floor has a roof terrace and functions of 20-140 people can be catered for.
