The County Hotel in Newcastle combines 1930s grandeur with contemporary elegance and luxury in a Grand Victorian building. Like Newcastle-Upon-Tyne itself, The County Hotel is a fascinating mix of the old and new and the perfect place to stay for both business and pleasure. Situated directly opposite Newcastle's railway station, the Victorian Listed building, which has been sympathetically restored and brought right up to date, is also close to many of the city's top restaurants, attractions and thriving nightlife.
The hotel's central location is also handy for St James' Park if you're coming to watch Newcastle United Football Club. The adjacent Metro and bus links service the magnificent North East Coast, Metrocentre shopping and leisure complex and Newcastle International Airport, making travelling convenient and easy.
The County Hotel is now part of Gainford Hotels, who also own the Vermont Hotel in Newcastle along with the Vermont Aparthotel.
