Join CBK’s Adventure Co. and choose from coasteering, kayaking, paddle-boarding and guided tours along the River Tyne as well as at the Tynemouth coast. Activities are suitable for all abilities and for those who want to reward their efforts, book onto the Breakfast at Riley’s package which includes a well-earned breakfast at the famous Riley’s Fish Shack after a morning’s adventuring.

Test your strength and dexterity at Ouseburn Valley’s indoor climbing wall. Valley Climb is a friendly and relaxed space where everyone from beginners to experts can get active on the bouldering walls. Whilst you’re in the Ouseburn, why not make a new, four-legged friend at nearby Stepney Bank Stables where horse-riding lessons are available all year round.

Choose from dance workshops, fitness classes and top-notch gyms at a range of leisure centres and sports venues across NewcastleGateshead including the recently restored City Baths Newcastle. Many of the city’s hotels are also kitted out with excellent gym and fitness facilities to help you keep health and well-being at the forefront of your city break experience.
