Join us in 2024 for the iconic Great North 10K – an unforgettable run through Newcastle's finest landmarks and a perfect training ground for the Great North Run!
The Great North 10K is the biggest 10K running event in the North East and one of most iconic and celebrated sporting events in the country. The event is a favourite amongst runners in the North East and in 2024 it’s back bigger and better than ever with an exciting new route passing some of Newcastle’s most iconic sights.
The Great North 10K offers something for everyone whether taking on a 10k run for the first time or training for the Great North Run in September. Although many treat the 10k event as a formal test of training in preparation of the upcoming half marathon, participants are not required to be running Great North Run in to take part. This event is open to all who wish to run.
