Clip N Climb at Gateshead Leisure Centre

GO Gateshead’s Clip ‘n Climb is based at Gateshead Leisure Centre and features a huge variety of unique 25 foot high climbing challenges of differing shapes, textures and difficulty levels, as well as a number of gravity defying options that are guaranteed to thrill and excite. GO Gateshead’s Clip ‘n Climb is the perfect way to test your courage, have fun and keep fit.

Each session has a maximum capacity of 25 people and lasts for 1.5 hours. This includes a 30 minute period for registration, safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by one hour in the Clip ‘n Climb arena.

While there is inevitably risks associated with any physical activity, no previous climbing experience is necessary to enjoy it. Our automatic belay devices will take the slack as you climb and then gently lower you to the ground when you’re ready, and our fully trained staff will tell you everything you need to know to get the best from your experience.

Restrictions

All Clip ‘n Climb participants must be aged 4 years plus and not weigh more than 150kg. Climbers must be over 120cm to use Leap of Faith and the Vertical Drop Slide.
