The Mini Wonders Programme includes 8 free sessions at the Great North Museum: Hancock for children age 2-4 and their main carer.(younger brothers or sisters are welcome to come along too). During the programme museum staff will support families as we play and learn together through stories, songs, museum objects and lots of fun activities. Along the way we will explore ways to help your little one with their personal, social and emotional development.

After each session a light lunch will be provided in our cafe.

If you are traveling to the museum by Bus or Metro we are able to pay back the cost of your ticket.

Each family taking part will receive a goodie bag to continue your mini wonders journey at home.

Each family can bring one adult but please do let us know if you will need an additional adult to take part.

The mini wonders programme will work best if you are able to attend all of the 8 sessions. However we understand that life can sometimes get in the way. Please do let us know if you are unable to attend any of the dates.

This is a pilot project and we are getting money from Art Fund and Nesta to run these sessions. We will need to ask you some questions along the way so that we can tell the funders what worked best for you and make our sessions as good as they can be for your needs.
