Welcome to Westfield House Farm, home to four luxury en-suite shepherd's huts and a farmhouse bed & breakfast near Rothbury, just outside Northumberland National Park.
Choose from four stylish shepherd's huts scattered around the farmhouse's field less than an hour's drive from Newcastle city centre - whether you're a couple looking for a countryside retreat or a family who want to try an upgrade from sleeping under canvas!
Guests arriving for their glamping experience in one of the shepherd's huts will be welcomed by a hearty hamper full of essentials and a hearty first breakfast.
The shepherd's huts are available 365 days a year, whatever the weather, visitors are invited to enjoy an outdoor staycation near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
Each place to stay is well appointed with wood burning stove, electric heater, double glazed windows, electric blanket, hot water bottles & walls insulated with sheep's wool so that even in the coldest winter months, you'll be warm as toast!
Dogs are not permitted due to the size and location of our huts, we regret we cannot allow guests to bring their four-legged friends with them to stay at Westfield.
Experience the magnificent dark skies in rural Northumberland on during your stay. Apart from the (minimal) outdoor lights on the verandas of our huts, the hut field isn’t lit up by artificial light at all, enabling you to get the very best from our dark skies, therefore please bring a torch to navigate your way across the field after nightfall.
Available all year round.
