HiYou is a modern Oriental supermarket stocking traditional Chinese food and drink, as well as Japanese, Korean, Filipino and Thai food. You can find quality Asian ingredients and fresh fruit and vegetables which are hard to source elsewhere. The Chinese bakery is a must visit selling a large variety of tasty brioches and cakes.
The shop also features a 70-seater deli serving sushi, hot Oriental food and a range of teas.
HiYou is the first supermarket run by the Lau family, who own six restaurants across the North East, including Lau's 202 situated next door.
