Leazes Park is Newcastle city centre's oldest park with a tranquil lake and a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life to feed the ducks. Leazes Park is the oldest green space in Newcastle and has been restored to its former glory following painstaking research into its original design. New features included the reintroduction of ornate gateways and boundary railings, substantial tree planting, the restoration of the lake and a memorial garden.
