Ice Skating at Beamish
Unfortunately due to damage from the storms Beamish ice rink will be unable to open this weekend (19 - 20 February 2022).
Whether you’re a novice skater or fancy yourself as an Edwardian expert, Beamish's real ice rink is the perfect experience for all the family this February half term. Open daily from 19 - 27 February.
Tickets for ice skating are available from The Fairground on the day of your visit, on a first come, first served basis. Please note, to enter the museum all visitors must pre-book a museum entry timeslot ticket online and purchase a Beamish Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership. Ice skating tickets can then be purchased from The Fairground on the day of the visit on a first come, first served basis.
Please note: Numbers allow for social distance on the ice and enhanced cleaning regimes are in place for your safety. While it is not compulsory Beamish do ask that skaters wear masks, if possible. Session times include boot collection and exchange, at least 20 minutes on the ice and boot return and exchange.
Under 7s to be accompanied on the ice by an adult. Children aged 8 – 12 must be supervised by an adult (adults can watch rink side if they prefer!).
