Beamish Holiday Park is open and taking bookings. The holiday park is British Parks certified and has new measures in place to ensure safety of all visiting. Holiday makers will find hand sanitiser available in the shared facilities as well as perspex screens in the Clubhouse.
Beamish Holiday Park (formerly Bobby Shafto Caravan Park) is a family orientated business with years of experience in catering for visitors of all ages looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Beamish countryside. Close proximity to the Beamish Open Air Museum and the historic cathedral city of Durham. Many woodland walks, access to fishing and golf. The Howay Inn is our on site communal club house providing entertainment for all ages.
As well as our traditional camping options we've recently installed a number of eco-friendly camping pods- a great alternative to pitching a tent! The pods have plenty of headroom and most can accommodate two adults and small children. You will just need to bring your basic camping equipment, minus the tent! Choose from static caravans, Pods, Shepherds Hut and a Gypsy Wagon at Beamish Holiday Park.
