Dine in style in the characteristic old signal box and railway carriage in the heart
of Newcastle. "The most original Indian Restaurant in Great Britain"
awarded by The Curry Club of Great Britain the railway carriage, which is part
of the restaurant, was numbered 397 when it was built for the Great Northern
Railway at Doncaster in 1912, and was originally built as a saloon for wealthy
families to hire for their journeys. The Jesmond restaurant has been recently
transformed with an extension enlarging the fine Indian dining room and
creating an elegantly refurbished, stylish, and modern restaurant.
