Watch the world’s first tilting bridge, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge do its thing, with a thirst-quenching cocktail in hand at Pitcher and Piano – the ideal choice on a sunny day with its extensive outdoor seating. Just across the water in Gateshead, is SIX situated within BALTIC. The restaurant and bar offers artfully crafted cocktails with an enviable view over the Tyne.

Jesmond  locals are also spoiled for choice of cocktails, as Asian fusion restaurant Sohe shakes up cosmopolitan cocktails and hosts free monthly cocktail tasting events where you can find your new favourite.
