Newcastle Gateshead Quayside Valentines Day

You may be forgiven for forgetting Valentine’s Day in the depths of lockdown restrictions but this year there is no excuse. Mark 14 February as an important day and tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.

To make the most of this special occasion. Here is our guide to six romantic things to do in NewcastleGateshead.

Paint a Pot

You might like to do something creative this Valentine’s Day so head to The Pottery Experience in Jesmond. Find your inner artist and paint a ready-made ceramic or learn to make your own pottery on the wheel. With a wide selection of colours and designs to inspire you, make this romantic experience a memorable one.

Quayside at Night

The Quayside is beautiful no matter what time of day, but there is nothing like seeing Gateshead Millennium Bridge it up in all its glory. Stroll along the River Tyne with your loved ones and walk across the silver arched bridge and see the water dance and glisten under the seven bridges at night. Why not pop into one of the 10 bars that are along the Quayside. If you can’t get to the Quayside, there are many other walks around Newcastle Gateshead for you both to enjoy.

St James Park Shout Out

Perhaps you and your valentine share a love of the Newcastle United Football team?  What better way to say I Love You than at half time? Use the contact form on the stadiums website to get a half time request and hear your lovely message read out at a game.
