Situated on the seafront above the award winning Tynemouth Longsands beach it provides a one stop shop for all of your surfing needs. Surf Co was established in 1995 by surfing legend Stephen Hudson. It is now owned by his son Louis Thomas-Hudson, former captain of Team GB junior surf team.
Tynemouth Surf Co was voted ‘Best Surf School in the UK for 2017 at the UK Pro Surf Tour awards.
Tynemouth Surf Co. is adhering to guidelines recommended by Surfing England. Group lessons are available of up to 5 people and follow social distancing and hygiene regulations. They are running a kids club with a minimum age of 10 years old and children must be competent in the water to enable the instructors to maintain social distancing.
