The Stadium of Light is home of Sunderland AFC and popular north east venue for not just live sporting matches and football but also conferences, weddings, Christmas parties, concerts, celebration events, lunches. Legends including Beyonce, Elton John, Coldplay and Kings of Leon have all performed live at Sunderland Stadium of Light.
The Stadium of Light’s current capacity of 48,707 makes the club’s home the ninth-biggest football ground in England.
The stadium stands on the banks of the River Wear, a vision of the future and a landmark for Wearside.
