House of Tides

Set within the beautifully restored Grade 1 listed 16th Century former merchant’s town house, on the historic Newcastle Quayside, House of Tides is Newcastle’s only One Star Michelin and Four AA Rosette awarded restaurant. Top north east chef Kenny Atkinson has a palate for seasonality and sources the majority of his ingredients within the British Isles, which is translated through his classically trained, yet modern day inspired dishes. Expect tasting menus, attentive staff and a good selection of drinks at this fine dining restaurant.

Set over two floors, the rustic ground floor entrance level with its 16th century flagstones, provides an excellent venue for a pre-dinner drink. The first floor which houses the main restaurant seating area has exposed original wood beams and provides the more relaxed and casual setting for your meal.
