Don’t miss Pride Festival each year in Newcastle which grows with vibrancy, variety and good vibes with every event. Celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture with performances, events for all the family, talks and events showcasing all the colours of the rainbow. 2025 promises to be the biggest and best yet with Pride in the City taking over Newcastle 19th and 20th July,  and Pride in Gateshead bringing an entire month of celebrations to Gateshead this August. 

The Mouth of the Tyne Festival brings four days of music icons to the North East coastline against the backdrop of the iconic and historical Tynemouth Priory. Taking place 10th - 13th July, the festival has announced Elbow will be headlining in 2025.

Novum is Newcastle's premier arts festival, and will returning to the city this summer, bringing with it performances from top acts and a whole variety of exciting activations and events.

Further afield in Northumberland – the summer music festival season will continue with Lindisfarne Festival giving music fans another excuse to soak up the sunshine and experience world-class live music  in stunning surroundings 28th - 31st August 2025.

The ultimate cultural festival The Late Shows will make a triumphant return to cultural venues in Ouseburn, Newcastle and the Quayside 17th May this year. Explore after-hours and discover some of the most exciting attractions, galleries, print works, museums and heritage attractions with a twist.
