Fenwick’s iconic Christmas Window display is back, bringing a magical twist to The Twelve Days of Christmas, reimagined by celebrated illustrator Chris Riddell.
This year, the display follows the enchanting journey of Foggy the Partridge, who is on a heartwarming quest to make his Christmas wish come true. From Turtle Doves to leaping Lords, each window scene is brought to life by British designers Propability, combining intricate 3D creations with charming, traditional mechanical movements.
Visible to both visitors and passersby along Northumberland Street, the display draws you into its world with scenes accompanied by a bespoke rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas by Tyneside band The Unthanks. Their enchanting soundtrack, created in collaboration with The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, deepens the nostalgic charm of this year’s display.
In the spirit of Christmas, Fenwick has also partnered with Newcastle Foodbank to support the local community. Shoppers can contribute to this cause by purchasing a special Fans Supporting Foodbanks T-shirt, available at Fenwick Newcastle Concierge, with all profits aiding those in need.
Fenwick’s 2024 Christmas Window is open to enjoy throughout the festive season. Join in celebrating this year’s beautifully crafted tale of family, tradition, and holiday spirit!
