Hancock Gallery is proud to present Covert Couture, an exciting new exhibition featuring the bold and innovative works of two celebrated street artists: Prefab77 and Mul.
This first-of-its-kind collaboration brings together fashion, iconography, and nostalgia in over 30 pieces, including original oil-on-canvas paintings, hand-painted screen prints, and limited-edition artworks.
Newcastle’s own Prefab77, known for his powerful large-scale murals across Europe, draws inspiration from his years in New York’s street art scene and his background in printmaking and design. His works explore themes of culture, identity, and rebellion. Alongside him is Mul, another North East street art sensation, recognised for his uplifting “Running Heart” motif and vibrant, playful designs seen across major cities in Europe.
Together, they merge their distinct styles in Covert Couture, showcasing individually coloured and hand-painted works that offer an authentic fusion of patterns, punk rock, and portraiture. Whether you're a long-time street art lover or a curious newcomer, this highly collectible exhibition promises something truly special.
