Just a little further along Osborne Road, Osbornes regularly shows sports on their big screens, which you can even find on their outdoor terrace so you can kick back and enjoy the game in the sunshine.
Over the river, the Metropole is the favourite sports bar in Gateshead and shows all of the big games, but even if you're not a sports fan it's worth a visit to admire its beautiful Victorian facade and enjoy a pint of local real ale.
