They’ve done it again! Eddie Howe’s Black & White Army have booked their place in the EFL Carabao Cup Final for the second time in two years, and while thousands of fans will be making the journey to Wembley, plenty will be cheering on the Toon right here in Newcastle.

For the ultimate EFL Cup Final experience, head to Fanzone Newcastle at Times Square—the city's biggest and most electric match-day event! With a massive 3000-capacity indoor arena, two huge LED screens, and a heated marquee, you’ll catch every second of the action surrounded by die-hard Toon fans. 

Before kick-off, get in the spirit with a Sam Fender tribute pre-match party featuring Sam Offender, plus live bands and DJs keeping the energy high all day. One of the best spots to soak up the action will be St James’ STACK, located right next to St James’ Park itself. With multiple big screens showing the match live with full commentary, plus a buzzing atmosphere and a variety of top street food vendors, this is the perfect place to watch the final. It’s walk-in only, with no tickets needed, but be warned, it’s going to be a popular one, so make sure you get there early to grab a good spot.

For those wanting to pair football with great beer and street food, head to Wylam Brewery for a standing-only, 18+ event. Tickets are £13, and you’ll find the big screen set up, beers flowing, and patties on the grill to fuel the celebrations. With a lively atmosphere and one of Newcastle’s best breweries as your backdrop, this promises to be a class day out.

For a unique matchday experience, head to Ouseburn Garden, where the biggest screen in the Ouseburn will be showing full match coverage with commentary. Osborne Road in Jesmond is lined with bars offering unmissable drinks deals, moreish food and of course big screens to watch sports fixtures. It is no surprise then that most bars will be showing the final. Spy Bar is a firm favourite with fans wanting to catch the action. Rolling out drinks deals, food offers and an awesome match day atmosphere, you're always in for a good time at this Jesmond bar. If you can't get a spot in Spy Bar, head to Osbornes who not only have lots of indoor space, but outdoor heated seats and TVs. 

If it's atmosphere you are after, go no further than the Old George Inn. Watch the match live from one of their many screens whilst enjoying a refreshing alcoholic or non alcoholic drink. Shark Club is a self proclaimed sports bar and is an ideal spot to watch the nail biting fixture on 16 March. Sitting across from St James' Park, Shark Club is well known with toon supporters as one of the best places to catch a pint before, during, and after the match. Food and drinks are both available to help you get your teeth into the match-day celebrations.

Want a slightly more laid back matchday? Catch the League Cup Final at the Trent House. With a handful of screens, beer on tap and famous toasties, the independent pub is all you need for a proper Geordie match day. You can find the pub on Leazes Lane and it even has a pool table upstairs for a bit of half-time entertainment. 

Located just next to Haymarket Metro Station and Haymarket Bus Station you will find the Junction. Stretching over two floors and boasting a big screen for showing the footy, it is a great pub to watch the action live. The pub serves food and does student discount for those of you studying in the city, be sure to bring your student card to get great deals. Don't worry if you don't fall into that bracket as the prices are very reasonable for both food and drink.
