As part of the South Tyneside International Magic Festival, which is now in it’s 20th Year we are pleased to announce a very special and magical event for the whole family to enjoy.
Magic fans of all ages will be dazzled by tricks, jokes with this night of pure wonderment!
This year’s dazzling line-up includes:
- Graeme Shaw:
Graeme is one of the best and the busiest magicians around. Sure to amaze and astound you with his fast visual cheeky style of magic, he is unlike anyone else.
Graeme started his magic career when he was just nine years old. Since that time, he has won more magic awards than any other North East based magician. As well as being the owner of Magicbox, one of the biggest and longest-running magic retailers in the UK, he is also the youngest person ever to be elected president of the Newcastle Upon Tyne Magic Circle.
Graeme won one of the biggest magic competitions in Europe in 2020 at Blackpool in front of over 4000 other magicians, becoming Family Entertainer of the Year.
- Dain Cordene:
Offering eccentric humour and a quick wit alongside traditional and cutting-edge tricks, he has impressed guests from all over the world. With his boundless energy, Dain brings a stage to life. He commands audiences with his inventive magic and comedy to leave them gasping.
His charisma makes him a hugely engaging magician and illusionist - one that keeps the attention of an audience from beginning to end with natural altruism. Young or old, Dain offers something for everyone, as well as offering something different from what you are likely to have seen before.
- Danny Adams:
Danny Adams is best known for two things in the North East. Firstly for his slapstick comedy television show on CBBC ‘Danny & Mick’ where he plays himself along side his real life brother Mick.He’s also known for topping the bill for the last 18 years in the record breaking pantomime at the Theatre Royal Newcastle, alongside his dad Clive Webb. Throughout the year Danny tours with his Cirque Du Hilarious show and we are excited to bring him to the Customs House for a special performance just for you!
- Amethyst:
Amethyst are international illusionists Danny Hunt and Stephanie Clarke. Highly acclaimed as one of the UK’s top magic and illusion acts, Amethyst have established themselves as world-class performers. With their fresh and dynamic approach, they lead the way in entertainment for cruise ships, corporate and private events. Their unique and versatile shows have attracted worldwide acclaim and taken them around the globe, dazzling audiences in many countries.
Amethyst are renowned for its range of spectacular and unbelievable shows featuring mind blowing illusions and breath-taking escapes and stunts. Amethyst offers several different shows including magic and illusion, mentalism and escapology.
