Lilidorei at The Alnwick Garden is bringing back its thrilling Spookydorei celebrations, and this year it's bigger and spookier than ever!
From the 2nd of October until the 3rd of November, the enchanting village will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland, perfect for children of all ages.
Each of the nine magical clan houses will be decked out in eerie decorations, with glowing lights, smoke effects, and spine-chilling soundscapes setting the scene for this Halloween extravaganza. Visitors can expect ghoulish storytelling, puzzles, and themed games throughout the day. For those seeking an extra thrill, Spookydorei Nights offers an after-dark adventure, running on select nights in October.
Families are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing up and taking photos by their favourite clan house. Tagging Lilidorei or The Alnwick Garden with #Spookydorei on social media could even win you a free Christmas visit!
There are two trails to explore: one for the little ones and a spookier option for those who love a good fright. Half-term fun runs from 10am to 4pm, with an added evening session (5pm to 9pm) for the bold and brave.
Don’t miss the Spooky Scarecrow Contest, where local schools compete to create the spookiest scarecrow, and visitors get to vote for their favourite!
