Dig out your best costumes and dust down your deadly dance moves for a spooky spectacular party this Halloween at the Life Science Centre. The doors will be creaked open after hours on Friday 25 October, for an eerie-sistible Halloween Silent Disco adventure for adults. Put on your headphones and dance and sing along to some of the best spooky tunes or 90s classics.

Give yourself the heebie-jeebies at Newcastle Castle and watch a spooky classic at one of their famous film nights. Choose from Sweeney Todd, Bram Stoker's Dracula or The Exorcist to watch in the Castle Keep.

Head to Beamish and experience spooktacular evenings of tricks and treats with Beamish Museum’s Halloween Evenings, taking place on the 27th, 28th, and 31st of October. Dare to explore the haunted grounds of Pockerley Old Hall, the oldest building in Beamish, after dark. Don’t be fooled by the quiet Pit Village, or the shadows lurking in Birch Wood. Enjoy family-friendly fun in the 1950s welfare hall, and meet some unexpected inhabitants along the eerie Edwardian street this Halloween.

Head to The Glasshouse and get ready for a Halloween scare like no other! Experience Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic thriller Psycho like never before with a live orchestra performing Bernard Hermann’s chilling score.
