Join us for an uplifting evening of pop and rock hits performed by Northern Proud Voices, the North Easts largest and longest-running LGBTQIA+ choir.
Since 2011, the choir has provided a safe, supportive space for members to connect through music, reducing social isolation and promoting well-being. Expect a setlist of feel-good and meaningful anthems last years programme included Mr Blue Sky by ELO, Tattoo by Loreen, and Its a Sin by The Pet Shop Boys.
After the concert, enjoy refreshments and networking in the stunning Cathedral nave. On the evening, a bar will be run by volunteers from theFriends of St Nicholas [https://newcastlecathedral.org.uk/community/friends/], with all donations directly benefiting the Cathedrals work.
Tickets are available on a 'Give As You Feel' basis. Proceeds will be shared equally between Northern Proud Voices and Newcastle Cathedral, whose work includes the Cathedral Lantern Project, which exists to walk and work alongside people facing difficult times.
