This Christmas, Cragside is pulling out all the stops with a spectacular festive experience like no other!
Head to Northumberland and witness the UK’s tallest living Christmas tree—a breathtaking 42-metre Giant Redwood adorned with over 2000 sparkling lights. This towering natural wonder, twice the height of the Angel of the North, promises to be an unmissable seasonal sight for the whole family.
But the magic doesn’t stop there. Cragside House has fallen under the enchanting spell of the Spirits of the Forest. Wander through rooms transformed by nature, where woodland animals roam free, trees fill the halls, and Cragside’s famous Drawing Room takes on a mystical new look, complete with a cave-like fireplace.
For an even more magical experience, join the Twilight Lantern Walk through the glowing Debdon Valley. Available on selected dates, this family-friendly twilight adventure will have you carrying a lantern through illuminated woodland paths, past shimmering waterfalls, and across the Iron Bridge, with Cragside’s beautifully lit House as the perfect backdrop for festive photos. End your journey at the foot of the grand Christmas tree—a true winter wonderland moment.

- Daily: Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 December (except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
- Time slots between 2.50pm and 4pm (booking essential)
Quieter sessions for the Lantern Walk are available at 2.50pm for those seeking a more relaxed experience.

Tickets for the Twilight Lantern Walk must be booked in advance. For quieter sessions at 2.50pm, please only book if required.
