Join us for an exciting and interactive Armed Forces Day right here at Metrocentre! We’re proud to welcome members of the 3 RHA and 101 Regiment, along with a fantastic military band, vehicles, and regimental information stands.
Event Schedule
9am - 4pm - A genuine military vehicle will be on display by the Yellow Mall Entrance. It's a great photo opportunity and a chance to explore real military equipment up close!
9am - 4pm – Regimental Info Stands & Equipment Displays
Chat with soldiers, explore the equipment, and learn about careers in the military. Fun, educational, and great for all ages.
11:00, 12:00, 13:00 – Live Band Performances
Enjoy 3 x 30-minute live performances by the military band throughout the day. These will take place in Town Square and are free to watch.

Both regiments are based locally in Newcastle – making this a unique opportunity to meet and support your local Armed Forces.
