This walk looks at Newcastles Anti Slavery campaigns but also examines the slave trade interests in the North East and how some people became wealthy by participating in human trafficking.
August 23rd is International Day for the remembrance of the slave trade and its abolition.

Although this walk is wheelchair accessible there are some steep slopes.
