Write your own Tales on the Tyne (ages 6+)
For centuries, the Cathedral has been a place where the stories of the Tyne have been gathered and shared. In this creative writing workshop, well explore some of those tales before using them as inspiration for your own new stories. Work with a writer to plan and develop your ideas, then create your own story notebook to take home so you can continue writing!

Suggested donation: 5 per participant. Please register in advance to help us prepare enough materials for everyone.

Newcastle Cathedral is delighted to host the 'Meadow of Memories' sculpture as part of the Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail (15 July until 14 September). The event is presented in support of St Oswalds Hospice, in partnership with Wild in Art, The World of Peter Rabbit, and headline partners Newcastle City Council.

This activity is organised by Newcastle Cathedral and is not coordinated by St Oswalds Hospice or its partners.
