Hop into summer fun every Tuesday at the Cathedral with family-friendly activities inspired by the citywide Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne art trail.

Families can enjoy a daily explorer trail, a cosy reading and activity space in St Margarets Chapel, and a range of bookable creative sessions designed for young adventurers.

Tuesday 18 August, 10am12pm
Make your own bunny with a professional artist (ages 7+)
Be inspired by our fluffle of mini-Peter Rabbit sculptures and design your very own soft toy bunny to take home. (Please note: This activity involves the use of scissors, needles, and pins, and is therefore not suitable for very young children.)

Suggested donation: 5 per participant. Please register in advance to help us prepare enough materials for everyone.

Newcastle Cathedral is delighted to host the 'Meadow of Memories' sculpture as part of the Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail (15 July until 14 September). The event is presented in support of St Oswalds Hospice, in partnership with Wild in Art, The World of Peter Rabbit, and headline partners Newcastle City Council.

This activity is organised by Newcastle Cathedral and is not coordinated by St Oswalds Hospice or its partners. Click here [https://talesonthetyne.co.uk/] to learn more about the trail and click here [https://www.stoswaldsuk.org/get-involved/make-a-donation/] to make a donation to St Oswald's Hospice.

Please note: Children under 16 must always be accompanied by an adult, and adults must attend with a child.
