Young family walking in a light forest and carrying their toddler
The Great North Museum: Hancock has invited a very special guest to help launch a brand-new exhibition, 'Treasure: Hidden, Lost, Found'. Dr James Dilley is an experimental Archaeologist who founded ‘Ancient Craft’, an organisation focused on connecting people to their prehistoric heritage through interactive experiences, high-quality replicas, and a wealth of knowledge of prehistoric lifestyle skills. For the opening weekend of 'Treasure', Dr James Dilley and Emma Jones will lead a living history display in the museum. They will be able to speak to visitors about the materials seen in the 'Treasure' exhibition and discuss how these items would have been used in prehistoric daily life.
