The Lubber Fiend is a vibrant, independent DIY music and events space located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. Opened in May 2022, this dynamic venue is one of the city's newest hotspots for live music, events, and creative activities. With a capacity of 140, which will soon expand to 200, The Lubber Fiend offers an eclectic mix of experiences from live music gigs to radio broadcasts, workshops, and even cinema nights.

What We Offer:

• Music and Events: Host to live music, DJ nights, and various performances.
• Bar: Enjoy a curated selection of beers and ciders from renowned breweries like Deya, Verdant, Northern Monk, and Wylam, both on draught and in bottles/cans.
• Radio Studio: Home to @slacksradio, bringing local and independent music to the airwaves.

• Cinema and Talks: Screening independent films and hosting thought-provoking talks.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, The Lubber Fiend is not wheelchair accessible as it is situated on the first floor.
