    Take part in a spooky evening walk

    Give yourself the heebie-jeebies when you make your way around Tynemouth Priory on a spooky Halloween walk. As the daylight hours dwindle and nights become longer between October 28th and October 31st, immerse yourself in the eerie ambiance of Tynemouth Priory by embarking on a family-friendly stroll accompanied by ghost-hunting narrators. Delve into captivating stories brimming with peculiar and mysterious occurrences during this Halloween-themed walk, guaranteed to entertain all. Tickets are £8.50 for a child and £14.00 for adults. 

    Scream to your heart's content...

    Located just outside of Newcastle, take part in the scream park, Psycho Path is a theme park with four horror attractions. A trip to the park is not for the faint hearted! The UK's top scare attraction Psycho Path, has just unveiled its eagerly awaited site map, offering a glimpse into twelve spine-chilling experiences designed to send shivers down visitors' spines. The newly revealed map showcases a range of horror-themed attractions, including classics like Iscream, Psycho City, Corn-ered, Thunder Dome, Isolation, and Cutthroat Island. 2023 brings forward three new experiences: The Hunt, Crawl Space, and the eerie Dolls House.     Get creative with Halloween crafts at Life

    As the nights get darker and chillier, you’re guaranteed a warm welcome at Life. Everything in the science centre is included in your ticket, including the brand new live show ‘Fire and Ice’. The show sets opposites against each other to see who will win. Fool your senses and see ink disappear with creepy results over in the in the Experiment Zone (Ages 7+). Want to try your hand at crafts? Create your own Crankenstein monster or brilliant bat in the Making Studios, make it move, then take it home to scare your friends. (Ages 5+ recommended). Be sure to keep your eyeballs peeled to find the life-sized skeletons around the science centre.     Get spooky with your furry friend!

    Looking to get spookily social with your sausage dog? Welcoming all Dachshunds and Dachshund crosses, Revolucion De Cuba has got all of the usual Pup Up Cafe fun that has been visiting Newcastle for almost five years with a special Halloween theme – with a lucky dip trick or treat on entry! With unlimited puppuccinos and treats for all the doggos, lots of photo ops and a safe and secure space for off lead time, this is an event not to be missed!

    Watch a spooky film at The Common Room

    Step inside the Edwardian Lecture Theatre in the Common Room as it transforms into a spooky cinema this Halloween for a truly unique experience... just watch out for Pennywise!  Adults can enjoy an iconic horror film (IT: Chapter One) on October 27 from 6:30pm until 9:30 pm. Tickets include a Halloween special cocktail 'Georgie's Cocktail'. The Common Room's café bar, 5|Quarter will be serving hot and cold drinks, nibbles and offer some fantastic deals on wine and cocktails until late.

    If you are after a more family friendly film screening, the Common Room are hosting a screening of Room on the Broom alongside spooktastic STEM activities. Challenge yourself to make a wind proof witches has and test if your broom is strong enough for all your animal friends.

    Let your imagination run wild at Spookydorei

    Lilidorei at the Alnwick Garden is a magical play and adventure village located within the stunning Alnwick Gardens and is the biggest play structure in the world. When you visit Lilidorei, you can create your own narrative; visit the clan houses, play on the world’s largest play structure, take part in daily activities or join in with stories with one of the Story Keepers! Come and join in with Spookydorei this autumn. Come along dressed up as your favourite Halloween character and unlock the spooky stories of Lilidorei with the Story Keepers. Submit a photo of yourself dressed up alongside your favourite clan before the end of October half-term to be in the chance of winning a return visit at Christmas with your family! Spookydorei will be running from the 29th September until the 5th of November.
