1. Parties

1.1 Newcastle United Football Company Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 00031014) of St James' Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear, NE1 4ST (Club);

1.2 Experience North East England (a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number tbc) of The Common Room, Neville Hall, Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1SE (Experience North East England); and

1.3 The Participant is the individual who enters the Competition (as defined below) (Participant and Participants shall be read accordingly).

2. Competition

The title of the competition is Pre-season weekender ticket giveaway ion (Family tickets (x2 adults and x2 children) to VisitMalta Weekender at St. James' Park)

3. How to Enter

3.1 The Competition will run from 07/08/2026 until 11/08/2026

3.2 In order to enter, Participants must complete the Competition entry via Instagram 

3.3 By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

4.1 The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:

(a) Employees of the Club or Experience North East England or their respective holding or subsidiary companies;

(b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Club or Experience North East England or their respective holding or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or

(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

4.2 In entering the Competition, the Participant confirms they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize the Participant may win. The Participant may be required to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Competition and certify all information provided to be true.

5. The Prize

5.1 The prize for the Competition shall be two 1 family ticket (2 adults 2 kids) for the Club’s pre-season friendly matches at St James’ Park on Sunday 16 August (the “Prize”).

5.2 For the purposes of this Competition, the Prize:

5.2.1    is subject to Club ticketing terms and conditions in force from time to time, as set out at www.newcastleunited.co.uk/terms;

5.2.2 does not include any travel, subsistence and/or accommodation costs (any costs incurred in collection of, or enjoyment of any prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner);

5.2.3 is subject to availability, in respect of which the Club reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another prize of equal or greater value;

5.2.4 is not negotiable, exchangeable, or transferable; and

5.2.5 may not be exchanged for any cash alternative.

6. Prize Winner

6.1 Experience North East England will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date.

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Participant’s behalf.

7.2 The Club will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their Prize within 7 (seven) days of first being contacted by the Club, the Prize will be offered to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Time.

7.3 The Club does not accept any responsibility if a winning Participant is not able to collect the Prize or to attend the relevant match to which the Prize relates.

8. Data Protection

8.1 The Club will only process the Participant’s personal information as set out at https://www.nufc.co.uk/privacy-policy/.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Club, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or Participant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a prize or participating in the Competition except where it is caused by the negligence of the Club, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Participant’s statutory rights are not affected.

10. General

10.1 If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us.

10.2 When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails.

10.3 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Club may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.

10.4 The Club reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or any other social media platform.

£100 gift voucher to spend at Eldon Square

• This prize is a £100 Eldon Square gift card for one lucky winner.
• The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date raised
• The winner will be required to collect the prize in person from Eldon Square, Newcastle. Photographic ID will be required to collect the prize. A member of the Eldon Square marketing team will contact the winner to arrange a suitable collection date.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed, refunded, re-sold, or exchanged for cash or any other product.
• The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Eldon Square reserve the right to redraw the winner if, after 7 days, the prize has not been claimed, or the winner has not responded to Eldon Square’s attempts to make contact.
• All participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
